Introduction
Welcome to BabyGame (亲子伴玩, hereinafter "the App", "we", or "us"). The App helps parents accompany their children in building good habits. Its core features include habit check-ins, a reward "piggy bank", and shareable progress cards. The App is available as a WeChat Mini Program and on HarmonyOS, Android, iOS, and the H5/Web. This policy applies uniformly to all of these platforms.
We take the protection of your and your child's personal information and privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and protects information, and what rights you have. Please read and fully understand this policy before using the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy in its entirety.
1. What Information We Collect and Use
The App requires no registration, no login, no phone number, and no WeChat account authorization. Accordingly, we do not collect any account information such as your WeChat OpenID, UnionID, nickname, or avatar.
The App only processes the following information necessary to provide its core features, and all such information is stored solely on your local device:
1.1 Information you actively enter or generate

1.2 Basic local device information
To correctly calculate things like "has today's check-in been done" and "streak length", the App reads your device's local time and time zone. This is used only for on-device date calculations and is neither collected nor uploaded.
The App does not collect: your real name, ID/passport number, phone number, precise or approximate geolocation, contacts, the contents of your photo album (except a share card you choose to save), unique device identifiers (such as IMEI / IDFA / MAC address), or biometric information.
2. Device Permissions
The App requests system permissions only as needed for specific features, and you may decline them at any time or disable them in your system settings. The permission currently involved is:
- Save to album / storage permission (in the WeChat Mini Program:
scope.writePhotosAlbum): requested only when you actively tap "Save share card to album", to save the progress card image you generated to your device's photo album. Declining it does not affect any other feature of the App.
3. Storage of Information
- How it is stored: all of the above information is stored on your device using local storage mechanisms (such as local cache / SharedPreferences / Mini Program local Storage).
- Where it is stored: only on your own device. It is not stored on any server of ours (we do not operate any server).
- How long it is kept: the data remains on your device until you delete it within the App, clear the Mini Program/app cache, or uninstall the App.
4. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure
Because the data is stored only on your local device, we do not, and cannot, actively collect, share, transfer, or sell any of your information.
Regarding share cards: when you actively tap "Share" or "Forward", the App generates, on your device, a card image containing the child's nickname and habit progress. Whether to forward it to WeChat friends, share it to Moments, or save it to your album is entirely your own choice and action. You decide on this sharing and its destination, after which the content is governed by the rules of the receiving platform (e.g., WeChat). We recommend using the child's nickname/pet name on the card and avoiding sensitive information such as a real name.
5. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App uses the following third-party technical components at runtime to provide UI rendering and platform capabilities. They are not used to actively collect your personal information:

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or push-notification SDKs that would collect personal information.
6. Special Notice Regarding Children's Personal Information
The App is intended primarily for use by parents / guardians, who record habits and rewards on behalf of their child. This may involve information related to the child (such as the child's nickname and check-in records). We note the following in particular:
- The App should be used by a guardian, who decides what information to enter for the child. We strongly recommend using only a nickname/pet name and not entering sensitive information such as the child's real name, date of birth, ID number, or photos.
- All child-related information is likewise stored only on your local device, is never uploaded to a server, and cannot be accessed by us.
- A guardian may view and modify this information within the App at any time, or permanently delete it by uninstalling the App or clearing its cache.

7. Your Rights
Because the data is fully under your local control, you may exercise the following rights yourself:
- Access and correction: you can view and modify the child's nickname, habits, and rewards within the App at any time.
- Deletion: you can delete individual habits/rewards within the App; or delete all related data on your device at once by clearing the Mini Program/app cache or uninstalling the App.
- Withdrawing consent: you can disable any granted permission (such as the album permission) in your system settings at any time.
8. Information Security
The App does not transmit your data over the network, which reduces the risk of data leakage in transit or in the cloud at the source. The security of the data on your device also depends on the security of the device itself (e.g., screen-lock passcode, system security updates), so please keep your device secure.
9. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a material change occurs (for example, if a future feature requires uploading data over the network), we will notify you through reasonable means such as an in-app notice or by updating this page. The updated policy takes effect upon publication, so please check the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
